Thanks very much; now sod offaaaaaa!

Nice call on Oranger. I am convinced their drummer is Keith Moon reincarnated.

I'd put in a plug for The Cavedogs. They were part of the late-80s Boston scene, where a whole host of bands (e.g., Big Dipper) never made it due to not being hair metal, Madchester ravers, or grungers from Seattle.

Different Zs
I am surprised there no mention of how Fincher has different actors play the Zodiac. The guy at Lake Berryessa is clearly a different person from the Stine killing and from the Kathleen Johns driver. It's hard to tell in the first murders because of the lights, but none of them look much like the movie

One further thought - the scenes also get more "loose" with the facts of the case as the Zodiac starts to become a media braggart and Graysmith becomes more and more obsessed. The Kathleen Johns scene, for example, is the scariest and creepiest version of the many versions of the story she has told.

He doesn't even show the first murders because there were no surviving eyewitnesses. Although the way they are staged (especially Ferrin/Mageau) is definitely subjective.

She was married (to someone else, obviously). There also was a Graysmith theory that she knew the killer (i.e. ALA), which the movie shows. No one knows whether that is true or not and Mageau's comments, long after the fact, are conflicting and unclear.

IIRC, in the making of documentary it shows that is was not in the exact same location, but nearby. Something about trees having been cut down and the water levels in the lake falling so the former woody peninsula was neither. Don't know about the same day thing but it's consistent with Fincher's MO.

Two more I hadn't seen so far
