These are the two that stick in my mind, that's not the same as saying there are only two, that would be wrong.

Halo: Combat Evolved followed classic storytelling quite well for a videogame, including the pinch in the middle that raised the stakes on the already high stakes of your (and humanity's) survival.

I know that they deliberately toned down the humour of the first 2/3, but it's too stark a shift. And the Deus ex Machina really sends it home.

Great film, and I remember back in Sept 2001 thinking that some of the interviews post-NYC reminding me of the post-Buenos Aires clips. Glad I'm not the only one who thought so.
