I think Robin really knocks the role out of the park. Usually Tiny Tim is portrayed as so overly enthusiastic that he comes off as a pretty dumb kid. On re-watch, muppet Tiny Tim is acutely aware of his mortality, but keeps trying to enjoy the small moments and put on a good face for his family. He's positive because

Well, this is weird. I watched this with my daughter for the first time in years and then immediately after finishing it, find this article on the AV Club.

Mine too, son. Mine, too.

and every sequel just adds in an additional bride for the husband! This shit will write itself.

He's actually Austrian, right? *GASP* Just like Hitler!

Two thoughts:

Craft Services really nailed it this episode!

We both know this show only has the budget for Ziggy.

"Everyone stay quiet! There's plot sniffing around the front door!"

This show is mind boggling! Fet hears people screaming when he lets in Dutch!

"We survived Ronnie 'Union-Buster' Reagan and we'll survive these vampires!"

…and yet despite hearing FUCKING VAMPIRE ATTACKS outside and being above a FUCKING ARMORY, none of the gang have as much as a silver steak knife on them when Bolivar shows up.

*Reads "Better shows have been yanked for less."*

I started reading the books and it was easily the worst part. The major crime being that a better writer could have sold it and a smarter writer could have used it to reflect on actual times of calamity where people were forced to make hard decisions about the group members slowing them down and chose survival.

While they never got it on,the kids from From Up on Poppy Hill deserve an honorable mention. I pretty much got off the Studio Ghibli bandwagon when the plot veered into pseudo-incest territory. It was hard to root for characters trying to find out they weren't related so they could be together.

Oh my God!

They had me at "Consecrated rounds." Which is to say, I was in for the entire season 90 seconds in.

*Vampire shoots out mouth-tentacle* "WORLD STAR!!!"

Signing on for the first time in months to say: This truly deserves to be the AV Club's new go-to meme.

We have a lot to apologize for. I think Seattle comes in first in terms of the ratio of embarrassing pop culture output to cool pop culture output.
