I can't really add much to what has been said, except that I think that The Sopranos deals better with its themes and the big issues it addresses, as The Wire often comes off as preachy, whereas I feel that these issues are better integrated into the story. (I also find these themes more interesting in the Sopranos as

And of course Brass Eye was also made by Ianucci.

I personally think it's great and that it is really clever humour with a generic sitcom skeleton. I can't quite tell if I'm reading more into it than is actually there or if most people are missing something when they watch it.

As well as this being a great run of final episodes, I'd also suggest that the episodes from 'Walk Like A Man' to 'Made In America' is amongst the best ever stretches of five episodes in tv ever.

I really enjoyed this episode and would say that it is the most important/most stuff happens episode in the second half of 6A (maybe alongside Cold Stones).

I'd agree that this episode is unfairly maligned, especially as it comes straight after "Luxury Lounge", which is much worse.

New Labour's not actually the name of the party - its just a slogan for the changes brought in by Blair and Brown (continuing the work of Kinnock).

I'd agree that the Ben Kingsley stuff is just there because Chase and co. realized that they could get Sir Ben and that it takes away from the reality, but the rest of the Cleaver plot is believable. It's reasonable that with Tony's money, Carmine's experience and writing from an experienced TV writer, a semi-decent

The thing about England is that we probably are a quarter final team, which we usually reach, but everyone gets carried away with the hype and gets too optimistic.
