It really makes me happy to see everyone gushing over this show. I love love love it in a way I can't explain, but you guys are doing a good job for me.

Yeah, I'd agree with this. I do think OLTA is underrated, but for all the really, really good tracks (the two you mention, plus "Wrecking Ball", which just really doesn't get enough credit), you have other shit on there like "All Fired Up" - just why? Repetitive, boring, pointless. The album does get unfairly shitted…
"Mind Over Time" is also good, but goddamn if Paul isn't obsessed with inserting recorded messages/sound bites/clips/etc. into songs. It works there, but I might have turned on it a bit after some of those quirks on Banks got on my nerves.
What about "Crimewaves"? That B-Side from the Self-Titled might be the best song from that album and could easily slot into my Top Ten.
You're not the only one!
An Interpol apologist to the very end (ahem, look away from my username), I am looking forward to picking this up today. I totally get why people may find them dour and boring by now, but it's a sound I don't mind going back to, and for the most part, enjoy. It's not their fault TOtBL was great.
That scene really stressed me out.
I re-read that sentence in the review several times trying to make sense of it because I assumed there was no way Brandon missed that. But, that's the inference made in the review, correct? And that's definitely not what happened. I took it as a rando woman offloading a child she could not care for. Kind of continuing…
Count another for Tory. Hubba hubba.
Whew! Good thing I'm not one of those people!
I wish he'd just shut the fuck up about writing and actually, you know, write.
Only LSG's breasts, which others have already noted.
I admit, her charms have always been lost on me.
M-O-O-N, that spells Molly Ringwald sucks.
This has to be the best show on tv right now. Even last week, when they swerved dangerously close to melodrama, somehow ruled.
Really enjoying the discussion for this show every week, but no comments on the shot of Adelaide Clemens wearing basically nothing? Well, thank you, Rectify.
I wanted to like it. But then Charlie Hunnam acted.
Animal Kingdom overrated? Sheesh.
Why even review shit like this when a band like The Brian Jonestown Massacre put a new album out? Is it just to see how hilarious the thread can get?
The Lost World sucked.
