"On Top" is my favorite Killers song. Underrated.
Gin Rickeys are my absolute favorite. A Cucumber Gin Rickey? Even better.
Possibly for the last time?
Because it can't be said enough, what were they thinking with "Chemistry"? The album's not really as bad as people have made it out to be, but that song is just awful.
How has no one mentioned Rappin' Jake Sisko?!??
I'm trying to get one in before Kinja. It's a life goal.
Haha the funny part is that DFW sucks.
Shout out to Miller High Life for being the best "gas station" beer. I had a bunch this weekend and they were so good.
Euron is a cartoon. Awful.
Picked up a lot of stuff at the record store the other day. Current rotation includes:
Pale Saints!!!
The new Washed Out is good, very chill, very summertime vibez. It's kinda short (not necessarily a bad thing), and feels like a mixture of his older EPs with some new stuff. I wasn't a fan of Paracosm, so it was a return to form for me.
I thought both "Everything Now" and "Creature Comfort" were great. I like their groove these days and those tracks doubled-down on whatever you wanna call this iteration of their sound.
Which album is the reviewer referencing as their "darkwave" album? I've liked a few Liars songs over the years here and there but never listened to an album all the way through.
Bros!
I agree — I'm really liking this season. The Troy/Madison thing is one of the best plots either show has ever done. I know that's faint praise, but it's intriguing nonetheless.
Let me also recommend the new Sextile record, Albeit Living, out July 14th from felte.
I remember watching that performance when it aired. I was like… :O — that's a band I wanna know.
Homesick for Another World stayed in my head for weeks after I read it; I couldn't shake it.
