I think I was unsettled by both the Joker's and Bane's final moments, but that only lasted the first couple times through TDK and I suspect I will be alright with Bane now knowing what to expect.

It would seem that there is a problem with the Republic City council. As far as legislative bodies go, the council as a whole is terribly ineffective, but I think it can still make sense in the context of the show to have those unheard members, and for them to be so frustrating. We really haven't seen much of those

I got a really big Portal vibe when the they got off the elevator into the facility. You know, sterile empty plain office area with a disembodied female voice egging them on over an intercom.

Oddly enough, I just met a guy yesterday who works in the distribution end of the Music Box. He spoke very highly of his boss, who runs the theatre.
