I have no idea who Lauernce Fishburne is, btw.

"Even sub-par BSG is better than, say, CSI on a good day. "
Just to be potentially confusing, I also heard Gambit was supposed to be in X-Men 3, and Holloway was going to be cast but couldn't get out of his Lost shoots and so the character was written out, which is a good job as the film already had too many mutants.
Nope, me too, and I was hoping Josh Holloway would get the part for ages now. This casting is the only one more apt.
Ninthing the praise. It's the best depiction of youth and youthful folly on TV, possibly ever. The adults do well out of it as well. Best ensemble cast on TV, some of the best writing, great soundtrack; it's unmissable. The DVDs are dirtcheap, too. You have nothing to lose. Seriously.
Shredder, it's still gonna make you cry. What a scene.
Well, at least you're not saying you hate it because it's a kid's show. Seriously, please don't say that. It's a horseshit criticism, and totally wrong.
I too dismissed it for a long time, thanks to a hatred of Alien: Resurrection. Many people told me to try it out, and when I finally did I fell for it pretty quickly. As you say, it's the ones who won't even give it a chance who suck. The flatmate in question is especially bad as he watched it and even laughed at it…
Richard Robot - "Robocop. Sure you can talk shit about Robocop 2, and hey, Robocop 3 ? I'm with you. But the first Robocop is absolutely untouchable."
Pigeon Army is Kate Winslet!
"The director's cut even adds some genuine emotion into the film."
My flatmate from years ago would mock me for watching it, saying it was little more than a kid's show. Even the incessant sex jokes when Buffy was involved with Spike wouldn't sway his opinion.
Oh boy, here comes the contrarian again. I don't like Calvin and Hobbes. My wife, who will probably read this soon and freak out that I'm admitting it, laughed when it was brought up here as it's been a bone of contention for a while now. (Please forgive me for this confession, baby!)
David Boreanaz is our generation's Shatner. Kiefer is our generation's George Peppard. Which means Jack Bauer is our generation's Banacek.
Speed Racer on Blu-Ray. That should be your introduction. Awesome movie too.
Dammit Chloe, my mirror's broken! I have to talk to Bill, now!
White guys dial a number like this. Boop! ::licks finger:: Boop! ::licks finger:: Boop! Black guys dial a number like this. Boop-a-da-boop-a-doop-a-boop!
Anyone looking forward to the rumoured remake with a white Candyman? I heard about it on the internet so it has to be true.
Yeah, Hot Fuzz and Pineapple Express start out just as funny movies and then start wearing their action movie references much heavier towards the end.
There is indeed no region 1 of that, but you can now get CDs of On The Hour, which was the BBC Radio 4 show that started it all off. It's got the The Day Today cast on it, and is brilliant. It's released via Warp, as of last December, in two boxsets. I only just found this out, and I'm very excited.
