Pretty great year for 'average/plain terrible' comedy so far, with the likes of We're the Millers, Grown Ups 2, Identity Thief and The Heat raking it in.

The fact this comment has any likes at all is thoroughly depressing.
'The humans are dead . . . the humans are dead . . .'
The first one certainly was, whatever its merits (or lack thereof). John Lasseter has a big obsession with vintage cars.
I wouldn't be so quick to believe Chapman's comments there either. She's not exactly going to be well-disposed towards Pixar, especially now she works for a competitor.
Yeah, she was played by Jane Horrocks.
Yeah, living in the UK and knowing her from The Darling Buds of May mainly it was especially startling seeing her.
Yeah the ending is fudged but otherwise this is a pretty good film. I also really like the film adaptation of Matilda, the monstrousness of Matilda's parents and Miss Trunchbull are both perfectly captured in that.
Stiller is hilarious as White Goodman. Vaughn does his usual thing, but everyone else being nuts around him means that's immaterial anyway.
I'm bewildered by the hate Dodgeball seems to get here, I think it's one of the funniest comedies of the 2000s (and not in a 'because the standard was so low' way).
Yeah, it was about one scene in the film. And the Lance Armstrong bit was a funny cameo. In a way, it's even funnier now . . .
And featured We Built This City at this point.
Hello, Tate Donovan.
I don't recall much sentimentality in Dodgeball at all, even the ending is basically them taking the piss out of the fact they had to change the original ending.
Ok, calm down Frank.
It's a sequel over two years down the line. When they're reaching Ice Age/Pirates of the Caribbean levels of milking it, then let's worry.
Loved the last film, so looking forward to this one, especially more great Bret McKenzie songs. And if it has a moment even half as hilarious as Chris Cooper rapping or a Muppet barbershop quartet doing Smells Like Teen Spirit it'll be well worth it.
Wesley was supposed to be killed off after a few appearances in Buffy but apparently the writers started to like the character too much to get rid of him. Probably a good decision considering how popular he (especially in here) with fans of Angel. One of the best character arcs ever?
Online polls being that most accurate of barometers.
Absurdly BBC4 aren't showing season 3 in the UK until January 2014. Luckily seasons 1-3 are now out over here on DVD and season 4 will be out in January anyway. Which just makes their decision even more bewildering.
