Define 'their own thing' - they have influences, but I don't see them being copycats.
Fleetwood Mac were great.
I hated it. Frasier is a sitcom, not a drama. It really didn't need a 'character has life-saving operation' angle.
And the one where Niles has heart surgery argh. Just what we needed, a drama episode of Frasier!
It's not great, but I think it's still an improvement on the whole run from Daphne finding out about Niles' feelings for her through to the start of that final season. And if nothing else, I liked the ending they gave Frasier himself. It felt right in how quietly hopeful it was.
'One, two, three o'clock, four o'clock, rock! Five, six, seven o'clock, eight o'clock, rock! Rock,
rock, rock, rock, rock, rock!…'
Nah, I think the reviewer just liked the film.
Teach me the ways of the secular flesh!
Yeah it's him.
Yeah.
Director Bryan Singer (career currently on a steep downward slope since X-Men 2)
Blame all the people who helped Alice in Wonderland make over a billion dollars.
So which will be more mediocre, this or the forthcoming Wizard of Oz film/prequel thing?
'Is it me, or is TV getting worse?'
'Ah, it's about the same.'
To be fair, Curse of the Were-Rabbit won, and that's hardly your average animated hero. Though it did win in a year with no Pixar contender.
Hating Paperman too, boy it must be fun being this joyless.
I didn't say it was original, I said it was great. And animated films which make references to the whole history of video games are hardly numerous.
While Brave is B-grade Pixar it's a long way from being bullshit, and Wreck-It Ralph is great.
I'm not sure The Strokes will break up, the perfect time was after Angles was met with a large amount of indifference, but they've pushed on to do another record. I do agree they seemingly ran out of juice around halfway through their third album.
