There's My Bloody Valentine and Slint, but of course they only managed two albums. If I stuck to acts that had three albums or more, I'd say only Sleater-Kinney had a final album that I regard as their best. Though Talk Talk, Fugazi, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and The Delgados all had great final albums too.
