I think the beer fair where they awarded that blue ribbon must have been held at a mental institution.

Mulholland Drive is unconventional as all hell, but it is clearly plotted.
@avclub-eaa88660d97aa2a15400335bcf9d93ac:disqus , parents that don't like their kids?
super late, but things I liked:
- I liked seeing those planes drop napalm on Atlanta. Take that CNN!!
- it's pretty clear that you could have the entire show be only about Daryl and his hallucinations and it would be more entertaining.
- Michael Rooker is amazing. Love Merle. I used to think that the actors weren't a…
Matthew PRIVATE SCHOOL BITCHES!! Modine to me
it's odd that you mention Blade Runner because I love it and the fx were done by the same dude who did the fx in Tree of Life (and 2001, and a bunch of other stuff). I love There Will Be Blood, too. Both movies are hyped to such a huge degree that their moody nature might disappoint a lot of folks.
I think she's kind of fun to watch. Jones plays a spoiled brat really well. But the actress that plays Francine Hanson, Anne Dubek, really is the best actress on the show.
you hate this show.
'98 I think.
you're thinking of a Trooper song.
great review!
I liked the “Comic Con movies” description. Pretty accurate. The comments about Nic Cage and Steve Vai kind of miss the point of those guys.
Nic Cage ate a live cockroach in that movie. He's also made out with Cher in another. You can't question his dedication.
I don't hate it, but I only really enjoyed the fx (excepting the dinos). Most of the coming of age stuff, the whispering, spinning steady-cam, whirling actors, the heaven is a beach ending, and so on wasn't that interesting to me.
He's into that.
I had an acquaintance spend hours (we were high) trying to convince me that Atom Egoyan was the greatest living director. Once I got tired of laughing at him I threw him out into a blizzard.
no, he's usually right on target :)
you have great racist energy but lack the coherence necessary for racist leadership.
Rabin reading celeb bio books would be a great feature.
Is he from the future?
