Terrifying in the implications
Imagine watching this much TV in a single year…

I love The Office, but the wedding episode was the worst episode of this season.

The director of T2 and True Lies doesn't get a lifetime pass; quite the opposite.

Like many people in this thread, MNS still hadn't lost me until Lady in the Water, which was so awful it retroactively made his last two-three movies worse. I'll never watch one of his movies again (confession: I didn't make it through more than 20 minutes of Lady in the Water, either), so I skipped The Happening.

I just finished the sequel "Jennifer Morgue" and went back and read "A Colder War" again. I think that story may be my favorite SF short of the decade.

Seriously? That show needs to get bumped down several letter grades if that band actually exists.

Also, re: audiobooks, Ian Banks' audiobook "Transition" is free in a dozen installments on iTunes

Some of the dozens of podcasts I subscribe to via iTunes (besides the ones you listed):

Should a list of "Best Music" leave out everything but college rock/hiphop/pop variants?
Were there no good country albums since 2000? Soundtracks, classical scores? Jazz, blues recordings? Gospel, folk, reggae, etc, etc…?

AJR, I love Pixar, I just don't tend to rewatch them often enough to justify owning them (excepting The Incredibles, which I tend to watch from whichever point, whenever I find it channel-surfing).

Weirdly, we only got a laptop bag that year with our studio's logo on it 3 years ago. A Toronto Blue Jay would have been awesome, either Rance Mulliniks or Garth Iorg.

A certain video game studio. They gave each of us a Kindle at least year's Christmas party, and we each got an iPod Nano four years ago.

So I need to own a DVD first, I guess, to take advantage of this one time offer?
Wait, I need to pay for the BluRay disc, even if I had a DVD to trade in? Dealbreaker.

I don't know who this Stacy person is, but I just did a spit take (with my morning coffee) reading that post. Bravo. Now my monitor has little dots of office coffee on it.

No movie ever made or to be made is worth $12

Do the Oscars even need a host?
Serious question — wouldn't it save precious time for the speeches?

Am I the only one who thinks True Lies was one of the worst things I've ever seen in a theater?

If the Cubs win with Sweet Lou as manager, I could root for that.

The Phillies have Jamie Moyer on their pitching staff, so it's fine with me if they win every year that the Mariners don't get in from now on.

Damn; I logged in only to post the same World Series snark. No loving God would allow A-Rod to get a World Series ring.
