On a re-watch, I realized that the "grad student or something" in the flashback is Gretchen, Walt's former assistant and lover who ends up marrying his much more successful friend/rival Elliott Schwartz. She's the one who Skyler keeps trying to thank for funding Walt's cancer treatment later on…

I would wager that Deadshot is exactly who Hardy will be playing in this movie.

alternate memo to WB/everyone in Hollywood:

The Riddler is awesome because he can't resist revealing and undoing his evil schemes, never mind those of whatever crazy Legion of Villains he's in at the moment.

I also was horrified to see that this collection was only 5 years old and yet the only song I recognized was from an ad jingle.

Good for him
Screw that bullshit

Terrible news
Only worse directors I could imagine would be Tim Burton, Robert Rodriguez, Michael Bay or M. Night…

But Hammer was supposed to be Batman, in the canceled "Justice League: Mortal" movie…

Also, the Donner cut results in two movies ending with Superman spinning the Earth backwards at the end to undo the entire story.

@Dr. Strangelovecraft - I don't doubt that you heard it both ways. At one time at least (before national cable TV, I guess) every region of MA had its own accent. A Worcester accent wasn't a Boston accent any more than a Bronx accent was a Jersey Shore accent. My parents were from the South Shore and North Shore in MA

I grew up in and around Worcester, MA and it's "Wistah". Nobody there says "Woostah"

Internet Jerk beat me to it — Captain Doyle's scheme is just implausible on the face of it.

mrs. izzard, I just didn't think the twist worked, logically…

It's "no suh", as many of my childhood conversations went like this:

tell us more about filling corporate soccer mom types

you can literally walk from downtown Seattle across a continent and right into downtown Boston

Yoah sistah's a hoah.

The Tarn?

2 Wycked, I agree with you on the greatness of Gone Baby Gone and on the twist almost ruining the movie…

Marion Cotillard as Catwoman? Man, that's a weird bit of casting. She barely registers as a person in "Inception" (though, granted, she isn't playing a person so much as the dream of a memory of a person)…
