It seems like many still think the Broncos will get home field based on the schedule but I doubt the Broncos will win out the rest of the way. Broncos have a tough night game in Kansas City. They still have to go to San Diego and the Chargers presumably won't be as banged up this time. I even think the Dolphins

I love when they call the time out to ice the kicker but the kicker kicks it anyway after the whistle and the kicker ACTUALLY MISSES. Then the kick doesn't count but puts the next one through. I know this has happened at least a couple of times through the years.

If Gronk stays healthy, the Broncos won't beat the Patriots in the playoffs (in a game that will now most likely be in Foxboro). Gronk for the Patriots now is becoming what Moss was for them in 2007. And Belichick v. Fox is just a complete mismatch. I hate to say it b/c I can't stand Belichik, but I think Tom and

Fun fact-Howard Stern was a big reason Snapple became a big thing in NYC in the early 90's (I have no scientific proof that he mattered that much for the company but I had never heard of the drink before Stern). Stern had a hit television show in the early 90's on Saturday night (that often locally beat SNL In the

Ha! I think your Weird Science comment would actually be true if that film came out today.

double post

You mean you didn't find the "worst team money can buy" early 90's Mets entertaining? You didn't enjoy Vince Coleman with his firecrackers or Brett Saberhagen with his bleach? You didn't enjoy the Mets spending big to bring in Bobby Bonilla, Eddie Murray, hiring Jeff Torborg and trading for Brett Saberhagen only to

"Do I look like i need a psychological evaluation?!"

I think its always been underrated because some people think of it simply as the movie where Travolta is doing a Clinton impression. It's actually one of the best films about how politics really works ever made. Travolta and Thompson really bring depth to dynamics of the Clinton relationship. And Kathy Bates is

Spoilers: and I totally agree that Riggan actually having superpowers is the weakest interpretation. The entire film made it clear that it's all in his head. For him to actually be able to fly at the end would just be…..well…stupid.

SPOILERS:

Fine, but he was still at a young enough age that he wouldn't be tied emotionally or physically to his dead father or be able to fully process (if not actually remember) any nasty comments Gillian made about Nucky. He was raised in his formative years by (what we presumed) to be a loving and caring woman. I

It actually made me think of Alien 3. All of that effort for Ripley to save Newt in Aliens and it was wiped away in the first 10 minutes of Alien 3.

Thanks Winter for filling in the blanks and trying to make sense of something that really makes no sense (yes, I'm being sarcastic). From what we saw of Julia, she was one of the most purest, caring people we have seen on this show. Tommy was adapted at a young enough age where he wasn't mentally and emotionally

He was 4 or 5 during that small window when Gillian and complete and total access to Tommy after Jimmy was murdered. Tell me what you remember at that age. And how exactly would Tommy even know that his real parents were murdered or the circumstances behind it? This information had to have been relayed in his

Richard leaves Tommy with Julia, his new Mom, and his sister, who Winter has given us no reason to believe will be nothing other than loving and responsible parents. They live in WISCONSIN for goodness sakes! Yet, somehow, someway, Gillian who is imprisoned in an INSANE ASYLUM for MURDER somehow gets to know Tommy

I still think the kid may kill Nucky though. It would be ironic that Nucky kicks the kid out to do him a favor and then the kid takes him out to gain a position in Luciano's organization. Didn't Lansky say they have someone on the inside? Maybe after Nucky told Mickey he didn't want the kid involved, the kid then

The closing shot of the young Gillian's plea to Nucky was both chilling and sad. The flashbacks this season have created such a tragic scope to Nucky's character and the entire show. Kudos to Winter for taking a big risk with these sequences. It's paid off for more me completely.

Great analysis. Deserves more than an up vote.

Great episode and I disagree with the majority about the dislike of the Nucky flashbacks. They're going to give the end of the series, and Nucky's end, greater emotional resonance and impact. For goodness sake, after 5 seasons I now actually CARE about what happens to Nucky. Buscemi is just in top form in this
