In junior high, our entire school had a special "assembly" where we all watched a very special episode of Growing Pains (which I of course had already seen) where Mike, Boner and some other friend are at a party where drugs are being used.  For the life of me I can't remember what drug or if Mike did them too (I think

You know, I always watched Belvedere as a kid but for the life of me could not recall seeing an episode where Wesley was molested.  Then a couple of years ago I saw a promo for the episode on youtube.  It appears his molestation was forgotten about in the very next episode.

Jeez. I remember as a kid seeing those serious promos for the "Sam gets kidnapped" episode and just couldn't wait until Saturday until it aired.

I just spit up my soda!! That's hysterical.  Not only that but your screen name is "Boner Time".  Perfect.

I'm afraid it won't be here in 10 years.  Everyone will be at The Dissolve.

Tell that to Stanley Kubrick.  The thing that makes PTA great, in fact the thing that makes him the best director out there right now, is his exhilarating mix of cold , calculating despair and cynicism with his belief in humanism and love that can fight back against the existential loneliness.

I'm just going to come out and say it:  The Master was the best movie of last year and an outright masterpiece.  I have it on Blue Ray and seen it 4 times and it only gets better and richer upon each viewing (and is so subtle it DEMANDS repeat viewings).  It may…dare I say it, be as good as There Will Be Blood.

Shit….I always just assumed he would live forever. This is a tough one.

Thank you for that intelligent and articulate explanation Sean C.

Yes Semperfudge, I felt the EXACT same way.  Walt's desperation in "Crawl Space" means nothing because as it turns out (with the whole Brock poisoning contrivance), Walt is actually a superhero and can get out of any improbable situation.

And another thing (although this isn't really a "Plot hole" but speaks more to realism), could they have expanded the time-line just a little bit?  When you take a look at Hank's character, you see how silly it seems that all of this happened in under a year:

Jensen's point is just the tip of the iceberg for some of the illogical and unrealistic parts of this show.  I didn't have much of problem with them in the beginning but the Brock poisoning thing just rubbed me the wrong way.  Here is a list of some things that are puzzling:

The show is riddled with plot holes, contrivance, and over the top plotting.  If that doesn't bother you, that is fine.  But don't pretend that they don't exist.

I said the same thing about the idiotic Brock gets poisoned scenario about a week or so ago and I was lucky I wasn't killed.  The worst thing was Gilligan at Comic con admitting that it was "Improbable".  He's basically admitting the audience is sheep and will go for anything.

Oh please.  God forbid someone criticize the show.  The whole "Boost Jesse's confidence!" ploy was just silly.  Stop trying to defend it.  Gus wants Jesse dead throughout Season 3, yet in Season 4, all of sudden, Jesse (the junkie!) is a better option for Gus than Walt.  You know the real reason Gilligan did it?

Nah ApathyMonger, it was a great episode.  Especially with Cliff bothering Admiral Crowe about his idea about a submarine with wheels.

The poisoning of Brock scenario was a low point for this show. Then you have Giligan at comic con calling the scenario improbable, basically admitting that he thinks the audience is sheep and will fall for whatever ridiculous plot contrivance he wants to show us (except he has so little respect for the intelligence

BH Cop II does sort of suck but I always keep it on when I come across it. It has some pretty cool action scenes, great soundtrack ("You're Busted") and some continued great chemistry between Murphy, Reinhold and Ashton.  And of course, they go back to the strip club again only to run into trouble there (again!).

George Lucas cameo!
