We must be careful not to attract to much attention to the greatness of Felt, lest we ruin the band's fragile mystique. Having said that, if you like Forever Breathes…, check out Me & a Monkey On the Moon, Poem of the River, and the Gold Mine Trash compilation. Then go deeper - Strange Idols Pattern, Ignite the Seven

Men at Work's "Two Hearts" album. I'm here to defend its relative worth and decry its anonymity in the MAW discography. The band was disintegrating, studio musicians filled the gaps, the sound is more "slick '80s" than quirky pub rock, none of the silly "Heckyl/Jive" or "Down Under" songs to be found, and no hit

Saw them live (Empty Bottle, Chicago) touring Pony Express, and it was a lively show in

There goes my morning.

My Idaho Home. Dues. Tapedeck in His Tractor: Ronee Blakley kills it in these three performances. Also, that's a pretty white hot backing band.

Fans of "Hex" should check out the long-delayed follow-up "Codename: Dustsucker" - not as good as the former, but has some great moments and lots of contributions from Talk Talk's Lee Harris on drums.

Meh… disagree.  And Echo also did their own lazy, half-arsed Beatles cover of "All You Need is Love"

"Reverberation" is indeed a great album - if the band had at that point simply picked a different name, that album would have been hailed as a fantastic debut, instead of an insult to the EATB legacy.
