I really like this album. It may not be groundbreaking, and some of the elements of the band feel kinda pandering to "indie" culture (like the mac triangle thing, or the Where The Wild Things Are bridge), but after I listened to it a few times I really got into it. This review reads like my first impressions of it,

Wait, so it's a movie about hipsters that only an elite few will "get"? Isn't that a bit like the pot telling the kettle it was black before it was cool?

The horror wasn't really in the plots or the atmosphere, most people were just terrified that Ryan Murphy was allowed to continue making tv shows.

I really enjoyed the first season, especially towards the second half as the characters began to be fleshed out and have their own stories. It reminded me of Dino "Starburns" Stamopolous' show Moral Orel, where the third season was devoted to showing the stories behind the one-joke characters, while drawing a larger
