I sometimes switch the first letters of names around in my head to amuse myself because I am easily amused, and this is uuuh… an interesting one.

Now here's a children's book I'd like to hear Samuel L. Jackson read.
@avclub-e95a45d0b1f5afdf0ab9cde82b4b1d06:disqus , how many characters has the show explicitly killed off? 24, obviously. Speedy. Maybe the puffy-haired woman from Gargantua-1, but you never see a body or ghost. What I'm trying to say is, they're probably fine.
@avclub-1881baeccb7399f3452cd7f37cdb2b29:disqus , the guilt is from knowing that I'm a grown-ass man watching a "sexy teen drama". In terms of quality, I totally agree with you. So I guess that says more about my hangups than anything, but still.
The first season is one of the best guilty pleasures I've watched in a while. The second isn't as consistently great, but I cared enough about the characters at that point to put up with some of the duller/sillier parts.
Tank Top and Bum Rush are my favorite "joke" characters since Girl Hitler, Catclops, and Manic Eight Ball, so I'm hoping they have a similar resurrection…
I've usually found that I'm guilty-pleasure-watching it; the hate I think I feel towards it is just misinterpreted self-loathing.
I never read it from that angle either; I always just thought it was a lamer version of "You Can't Always Get What You Want".
Ha yeah what is it with famous people and their constant need for attention?
What was great about DKR was that I couldn't stop giggling the last half hour because I kept thinking about that Adam West "Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!" scene from the original Batman movie.
I like Robyn, but her song "Call Your Girlfriend" inspires a similar reaction from me:
This is the kind of sentiment I've been waiting for in a Hatesong. What's the point of this feature if you're not going to be unreasonably mean or issue an actual death threat?
Boring. Get back to us when you've interned for Decisions and Boners.
Not Parliament/Funkadelic related, but that reminds me that this needs to be on here as well:
Through my great facility for analysis empirical
I explore celeb worship through exhibitions satirical
With pointed snark political and sometimes scatological
I am the very model of a newswire writer Sean O'Neal!
The movie was good and contains the classic Michael Caine scene, but I've seen enough incredible scenes from the series floating around youtube that it looks like I'm missing out. It also kind of makes more sense as a series, honestly.
"But seriously, integrals? Who gives a shit? Did I ever tell you dweebs about the time I punched Fred Durst in the face?"
I was pretty prepared to hate this when I saw it in theaters because it seemed like it was going to totally throw away the tone of the books in favor of some moody, philosophical BS for adults. It kind of did, but… damn, it's actually really good, and beautifully made. If you want the book, go read the book. The movie…
"We're entering Ace of Base country!"
Definitely not what I had in mind from his character in the books.
