They rose again, y'all.

No good this movie is!

It was a fairly hostile interview, on his part.  Admittedly, I haven't read many interviews of him, but the ones I have he's had a tendency to try and make everyone feel bad about anything and everything

uhhh… *Fast forwards frantically to end of movie*

random pop culture references?
Very meta of you, AV Club.

But bacon tastes good, pork tastes good.

What an amazing image of burton, It's like a MAD magazine drawing gone real.

No no no, you got it all backwards:

Such a great movie.

Album was meh, not even interested in buying it, which is weird cause i've bought everyone prior.  Better than Octahedron, at least.

Maybe the improper use of du and au was part of the joke?

In the Dexter's Lab episode I was referring to, it was totally Omelette du fromage

Oh, and to anyone with a German test forthcoming, "Der Kommissar!"
oh oh ohhh!

I shall sleep soundly tonight with the knowledge that I have once again used pop culture to destroy a part of one's life.

As well as an excuse for Basil Poledouris to make yet another awesome theme song.

Actually, the phrase 'Ich bin eine Berliner'  can be taken as a casual way of saying, I am a Berliner, not necessarily I am a jelly donut.  Kind of like how one could say 'I am a New Yorker' and not be taken as some kind of sandwich or pizza.

Omelette du fromage!

Heh, that's pretty crazy.  I went to church when I was younger as well, and that Carman guy actually did a performance at the one I went to.  I remember him singing a chirstianified version of one of the Lion King songs. Hail Satan!

everyone's at sxsw?

I wish the TV networks would release stuff like this and unaired pilots on dvd or something.  I'm strangely fascinated with this shit, and this does nothing to satiate the urge.
