Maybe I just have rose-tinted glasses about Gears 2, but 3 seems like it has way more cutscenes and they seem way longer. And they also convey information that could have easily been communicated during gameplay, which mostly seems like the same really cool action sequence over and over again.

Way too many cutscenes. You're not playing the narrative in this game, you're playing mostly repetitive battle sequences that lead up TO the narrative. It feels like a mediocre sci fi film interspersed with bits of gameplay.

The green/white ranger is an accomplished martial artist, who actually invented a style of martial arts and won all sorts of awards and competitions. I think he's in MMA now.

To speak critically for a second:

I SAID JEFF GORDON!

That's Billy Joe Shaver, my friend. All the theme songs have been Billy Joe Shaver.

I am a new tie wearing.

Let's go read a goddamn book.

Listening to Tenement, I don't think their aspirations are particularly pop-punkish. The progressions are too complex and subtle for that. There's quite a bit of mid-90s radio alternative rock in this.

The vocals for the New Rochelles are really clean and the guitars aren't quite deep enough, but that's all aesthetic shit. The band itself is awesome. Anyone wearing a Queers t-shirt is A-OK in my book.

When's the last time Opeth released a heavy metal album though? I admit I haven't paid attention in a long time, but they were moving toward folk metal when I was in high school, which was like 5 years ago.

So….every Opeth album

Fuck yeah The New Rochelles

Oh my god what is Batman doing in that last image

Hey now, the Ewoks were vicious bastards who, in case you forgot, were going to burn the Rebels alive and consume their flesh in tribute to their golden god.

And why does she have 80s soap opera hair?
