Nitemares!
Nitemares!
Who are the ones that we kept in charge? Cookie thieves and monsters.
Ice Cube has never smiled.
Friday > Boyz N Tha Hood. Its aspirations weren't as high, but it's a clever, restrained, really fucking funny movie. Second-best use of Chris Tucker ever, behind only Jackie Brown because he dies in that one.
The new single is pretty fucking fantastic
I tried to like that Saigon album, but its samples are way too cluttered for my taste. Lyrically great, though.
"But The Tree of Life isn't meant to be decoded and parsed for themes and meaning."
It's the motion picture equivalent of those Walt Whitman-quoting Levi's commercials from last year, in both form and content.
Regular Show is way better than Adventure Time. It's not as imaginative, but it's funnier and at times far more absurd. If you like giant coffee beans shooting streams of coffee from their boobs into the mouths of young animals, Regular Show is for you.
Tree of Life is the best-edited film I've ever seen.
Around half of Goblin is outstanding, when Tyler is fully committing to the therapy session concept, the payoff for which, at the very end, is awesome. All the rest, where songs from OFWGKTA's mixtapes (like Sandwitches) are thrown in so they have a profitable home, is forgettable.
Oh, and the Marissa Nadler self-titled debut, which is wonderful.
Oh shit, forgot about Community. Put it in front of Futurama.

Bulls/Celtics last year was better than any playoff series of 2011. The Finals this year were immensely boring; the only joy was watching the Heat lose, but even that's just bandwagon revulsion against Lebron James, whom I've already decided to cheer for next year.
What do we have here? Another citizen who wasn't READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL
Old World Blues thread! Who played it, who liked it, who hated it, why?
