Oh yes. Now I remember. The title of that episode, by the way. is "El Viajo Misterioso del Nuestro Homer." It's one of my favorites. When Marge goes looking for the replacement light bulb for the lighthouse and finds a big empty cardboard sleeve is one of my favorite visual gags ever.

There's some episode where Homer (I think) walks in on Bart telling a story that goes, "So I says to Mabel, I says…" That one cracked me up forever.

That episode where Edna was up for the award (I actually can't remember if she won) is great. The whole gist is that the only reason she was nominated at all was because she managed to deal with the Legendary Bart Simpson on a day-to-day basis and retain her sanity.

Is that Anthony Kiedis?

God damn, it remember Eureka's Castle? God DAMN it.

Seriously, that theme song
I've been getting the line "yippee ki yi yay like the cowboys say" stuck in my head off and on for like 15 years, and now I remember what it's from. So thanks for that I suppose.

If done right, Batman has more compelling villains than any superhero save maybe Spider-Man. Go read those Batman: The Animated Series write-ups at TV Club, son.

Dude Hyden we talked for like 15 minutes

Hotel California is a great song.

Great live band, too
Haven't heard this album yet, but it's up there on my list after seeing them live a couple weeks ago.

Not in any way, really. His music is way lusher, and he's got far less R&B in what he does. There's actually a very strong vein of britpop.

"…that Toro Y Moi and Neon Indian traffic in."
Bork, you're a Federal Agent. You represent the United States government. Never end a sentence with a preposition.

99.9% of white guys with dreadlocks also look incredibly stupid for having them.

Ska rules. You shush.

Some of the absolutely great punk rock records released this year:

I heard of Joy Formidable when they ripped the last 5 minutes of Conan a new asshole.

The Vandals, that's who.

Well GrantB, considering there's no talk-singing on their latest album, I'd say poop on you.

One of these bands better be The Hold Steady

Better now than it was. MUCH better. Talkin' bout Joe Morgan.
