Something something Frank Stallone!

Pink Floyd - Animals, The Ramones - Rocket to Russia/Leave Home, Talking Heads - Talking Heads: 77, Bowie - "Heroes"/Low, Fleetwood Mac - Rumours

Yeah, but with their weakest records. (That's because we don't count post-2000 NIN)

I'll argue vociferously that the ending to AI is far more tragic and morally ambiguous than people give it credit for:

Who here is kind of excited for Rango? Verbinski + Depp + Industrial Light & Magic + Ralph Steadman/Hunter S. Thompson references. Sign me up.

What the hell are you doing?

Con Air appreciation
Because Con Air is pretty awesome

I do remember at least one where the thumb was to the side. Not up or down, just sort of hanging there in limbo.

Blue Man Group is a great live show. Really funny.

The best Ramones-ish cover is Joey Ramone's version of "What A Wonderful World," which is up there with most any cover ever. And it was released right before he died, too, so it's an incredible self-eulogy on top of an amazing song.

Buckley's "Hallelujah" is terrible. He totally misses the point of the song and sings like a melodramatic eunuch. Completely wusses out one of the most scathingly bitter things ever written.

They play rugged, streamlined, electrified versions of 1950s rock and roll. That is the very DEFINITION of punk rock. They're not the best, but they're pretty good.

Pretty sure that's him.

Yeah. Note to those interesting in downloading Firefox 4.0 Beta: Adblocker is not supported. :(

I like parts of Resurrection a lot, like when Ripley confronts the failed clones. But that movie suffers from way too much Whedonism. Ripley making a behind-the-back halfcourt basketball shot has no place in an Alien movie.

Ron Perlman?
NOT OPTIONAL

That was as good as Norbit

You mean every other paragraph there isn't?
