@Sheltie: if you've already seen District 9, you don't need to see Avatar, it's the same movie, but prettier and with horrendously written dialogue

Oddly enough though, on Google Streetview it's listed as 2272 Bryant Ave S
(in case anyone wants to find it on there)

Sun Records is amazing! You can book studio time for a lot cheaper than you'd probably expect (as of a few years ago anyway.. I think it was somewhere between $70 and $120 an hour..) and they have instruments originally played by Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Roy Orbison (I'm pretty-sure, they definitely had quite

Am I the only one kinda excited?
I love Conan and watch every night, but if this happens AND Conan gets Late Night again:
-If Conan goes back to New York, that would be a huge improvement (I'd miss Andy though)
-Conan promised at the end of Late Night that his Tonight Show wouldn't be tamer, but it absolutely is, by far

The controls are actually super intuitive, as long as the sensor bar is placed perfectly, otherwise it's off, but still significantly better than the GC controls. Highly recommended if you can find it for cheap (or if you don't have any of the games already).

Metroid Prime: Trilogy, probably doesn't count, but is amazing!
I'm really glad Beatles: Rock Band made it! Mario & Luigi 3 totally should've too though!

[not to say that anyone else's have been obvious (they haven't), I was just trying to think of non-obvious ones and forgot to change the title]

non-obvious ones
I've always read comics and played video-games, but that always went over well with at least some crowds in school, the things that seemed truly dorky were things like:
-studying the special features on Pixar DVDs
-loving Glam Rock (and at one point wearing Aladdin Sane-makeup to school for Rock Star

Top 5 underrated albums of this year
Smith Westerns: Smith Westerns
Karen O & The Kids: Where the Wild Things Are Soundtrack
Small Black: Small Black EP
Au Revoir Simone: Still Night, Still Light
Discovery: LP

@thebigelectron:
perspective doesn't make him become any less of a racist. Just because he isn't killing anyone or forcing anyone to go to different schools doesn't make Jeff Dunham less racist. (that was a weird sentence) There are different kinds of racism, but spreading his in the way he does is just about the worst

it's been getting better and better. The weirder and less repetitive it gets, the better it is. For a while it was a bit disappointing when they'd do Twitter Track (seemingly) every other night. It still hasn't been quite as good as Late Night toward the end of its run, but it isn't far off. Last week's episodes were

Small Worlds was incredible, I just wish it was longer… How My Grandfather Won the War was a lot of fun and had an awesome art style! Thanks for mentioning it!

yeah

Aww, I totally forgot about Groundhog Day! The repetition makes it so easy to watch at any time, even though it might take a few minutes to figure out how far through the movie it is

John Hughes' teen movies plus
Willy Wonka, Say Anything, Planes Trains and Automobiles, The Goonies, Big, Back to the Future (1 + 2 mostly, nothing against 3 though) and Strange Brew (I don't think I've actually seen it on cable or TV at all, but if it was, I'm sure I'd be watching it)

@kjohnson
they actually have Rocko's Modern Life in sets on demand at Amazon, they work pretty-well, but they aren't ideal (they aren't full seasons and they're the cut-versions of the episodes, other than that though, they're good)

aww, I was hoping this book would be about Rick James' album sales…

If Chipotle had Qdoba's queso, I'd easily pick them, but as it is…
Qdoba>Chipotle>>……………………………………..>Moes
I still like Moes ok, I just like the other 2 way better, the only real positive Moes has going for me is that they have tofu available for the burritos
