Walt recovers in a hospital and discovers that he has just woken up from a years-long fugue state (which featured its own fake fugue state)

MTV's treatment of Human Giant is so weird. They put the episodes of season two up for sale on iTunes as they were airing, but after the careers of the show's stars really took off, they actually went through the trouble of removing it from the iTunes Store. Whaaaaaaat?

better late than never?

Blade Runner spoilers! aaaahhh!
I don't care about Inception spoilers, but when the ending of Blade Runner (currently on my Netflix queue) was being mentioned I had to swiftly remove my headphones!
I hate hearing spoilers for movies older than I am..

Oh my! I do believe that that song is the missing link between 60s girl group music and modern hip-hop! awesome! (it does sound pretty creepy at points though)

Good Morning Pee-Wee!
GOOD MORNING MISTER BREAKFAST!!!

I'll knock your blocks off with a brick for using such bad puns!

they aired it everyday after school at 3pm every day (here anyway)! Though, yeah, more of a Generation X thing

The National and Modest Mouse opening for R.E.M.! Pure awesome!

Up/Ratatouille (tie. haven't watched Ratatouille since Up, think I might enjoy Up slightly more though, it gets even better every time I watch it)
Monsters, Inc. (the one Pixar movie I really want a sequel to)
Toy Story (it's hard to judge this one since I've periodically watched it since I was 5)
Cars (Enjoyed this one

@But Still: I wouldn't worry about that, Pixar set up Pixar Canada to make most of the sequels from now on so that the real Pixar can make new original films like Brave! It sucks that Newt got canceled though, that one sounded excellent!

yeah, it's pretty huge in the mid-west.. as a kid I lived pretty close to an Andy Griffith Show-themed diner that was always busy:

The Tenacity of the Cockroach (a book of great AVClub interviews) works the same way, and is, well, just amazing! I'm surprised they didn't plug either of them

Is Tiny Dancer Really Elton's Little John? Music's Most Enduring Mysteries
this one somehow didn't get hugely popular, unfortunately. Great read though!

eh, the message of Little Mermaid is nothing compared to Beauty and the Beast. Beast is still a horrible, horrible man by the time Belle falls in love with him. He has a chance to kill her, but doesn't take it, so she falls madly in love with him and goes back to his castle. The message is seemingly, "Looks don't

this (amazing, ridiculous) mash-up somehow justifies the popularity of both Ke$ha and Lady Gaga to me:

Remakes with the meaning/intent of the original removed
It bothered me way more than it should've that they seemingly removed the political connotations of Horton Hears A Who in the CGI adaption. They weren't really all that heavy to begin with, but I feel like an adaption with the Post-WWII US/Japan politics further

Everything Tim Burton has done since the mid-90s (remakes specifically)
Somehow I always end up seeing his awful remakes of movies with friends or late at night on TV. I'm considering seeing his Alice In Wonderland simply because I feel like I'm exerting too much effort hating it without having seen it, though I'm

I can't find classic Wonka bars around here anymore, just the "Wonka Exceptionals" ones, which are all garbage.. probably worth doing a taste test on though.. anyone else try them yet?
