I second the Muppets, although my favorite Muppet movie will always be The Great Muppet Caper (John Cleese! Charles Grodin in a love triangle with Kermit and Miss Piggy!).

Weapons or no, I think Australians could overwhelm Alabama with numbers. They've got over 4x the population.
Kelly's roller skate dance in It's Always Fair Weather is amazing and unlike Xanadu, that movie is actually pretty good. Cyd Charisse is a pretty big trade up from Olivia Newton-John.
I too am SHOCKED that a woman who spells her name with a dollar sign would resort to lying to sell herself. How can I respect her NOW?
I once saw Hot Fuzz during a weekday matinee, and I was the only one in the theater (so awesome). It had been out for a month by then though.
What I'm confused about is how liking Serenity/Firefly makes you a poser. You can be a poser nerd?
Those Prince Fielder jokes kill me. I particularly like the inside the park home run joke. If you want to see video, I recommend Fielder's inside the park versus the Twins. It has PF sprinting and it has confusion on the part of the Twin's outfielders.
Lee Marvin always makes me think of Donovan's Reef even though he's been in better movies. There's no reason for Marvin to be in the movie at all plot-wise, but if you're going to have John Wayne and Lee Marvin in the same movie of course they have to fight. John Ford knows how to give the people what they want.
Abraham Lincoln-Do you ever make a comment unless it's to point out how much smarter you are than everyone else on this site? Every time I read one of your comments it's " you morons don't know the meaning of obscure."
That video is a gift that keeps on giving.
huge in Germany
Is this album really popular in the States? I feel like I can't avoid it here in Germany, especially the stupid song about Jesus and looking good naked.
I completely agree Penguin, particularly about the bit with the friend in Roger and Me. I can't listen to that Beach Boys song without getting depressed now.
From what I gather Tucker Max is sort of a frat boy type who wrote a book about getting drunk, doing stupid things and being, surprise surprise, an asshole to women. It was very popular with men who enjoy similar pursuits and I presume self-hating women.
Barnaby, I like David Marciano too. From what I've heard he really pushed to make his character more like a person than a stereotype. I've also heard he was good on The Shield, but I've never seen that show.
I am a Due South defender, but it got better after it got canceled on CBS and Paul Gross took over for Paul Haggis. Haggis does tend to write for stereotypes rather than people.
By my count most of the Midwestern states voted for Obama (7 out of 11 or 12 depending on whether you consider Missouri as a Midwest or South, plus the Omaha district in Nebraska went for Obama). Now the South and the Mountain states that's another story.
I was always fond of Nielsen's performance in Due South. In the first episode Nielsen appears in his character starts out very serious and by the end he's as silly as the rest of the show. It shouldn't work but it does.
I'm confused on that point as well. Although I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that the legal system is screwed up.
Uncle Fred in the Spring Time is pure genius and probably my favorite Wodehouse novel. The Empress of Blandings is the main reason for my love though.
I think you are right Sugartits, because Jeeves says he can't tell Bertie (trade secret).
