I haven't seen that many episodes, but I though Zakaria's show was pretty good. The one where he interviews PM Brown was particularly interesting, although not particularly confrontational. I'd say he's smarter than pretty much everyone else on the news, which means he'll probably be canceled soon.

On Bourdain's blog he said that Guy Fieri reminded him of Poochie from The Simpsons.

Beyond particles, actually trying to predict human behavior is actually really difficult. We may understand some of the underlying principles about say, how people answer survey questions, but there's too many variables to predict what they are going to say. I once wrote a paper on GotF. It was possibly the dumbest thing I ever put myself through to get a grade. Grave of the Fireflies is the only movie that I've ever cried through more than half of because you know how it ends at the beginning.

I liked parts of season 2 as well, but the bit at the end with Daisy's boyfriend was pretty bad.
