Are you insane? WHAT IF SHE DROPS IT?
Are you insane? WHAT IF SHE DROPS IT?
I like her on 'Parks & Rec' but that pic above? Jesus Christ, she looks like she needs a sandwich.
This. Everyone was terrified. As a male, I certainly remember that when I was in high school girls primarily wore baggy sweatshirts and/or overalls. After I had left, Britney Spears happened and everything changed.
This may be true - I'm in my early 30s, so I didn't live through the peak of their popularity - but I've personally never heard anyone make the argument that the Eagles are somehow "profound." In fact, I would say the vast, vast majority of people who actually talk about the Eagles nowadays ONLY talk about how shitty…
Call Me Carlos the Dwarf: I don't know if I can buy that. I mean, isn't the bag the last shot on the movie?
On the Flop House podcast when they did "That's My Boy" one of the hosts made the point that Sandler seems to conceive of/choose his projects based on where he gets to vacation while filming.
Anything that reminds me of 'Real Genius' gets an automatic like.
Oh Jesus, iBrain. So, so amazing. BECAUSE YOU'RE A CLOWN.
1. PFT is podcast royalty, as said previously. Doesn't NEED to be repeated, but it doesn't HURT to repeat it.
I'm 90% sure I read something where Feig or Apatow outright said Mt. Clemens was basically where the show took place. It would make sense, as the Chippewa Valley school district referenced upthread is in Mt. Clemens.
I thought you were great on "Mock Trial with J. Reinhold."
The face he makes after his (similarly perfectly-delivered) line, "You know? Because Friday is… the sabbath … for the Jews… ?" is probably my favorite part of this episode.
Lowe has been killing it this postseason, both on Grantland and the Simmons podcast. He should show up more often, as he instantly raises the level of discourse. You can only hear so much "team X just wanted it more" and "the crowd won that game for them," before you start longing for actual analysis.
@avclub-7b35a1122309e7451c5060ae86700961:disqus THANK YOU. I am alone on an island amongst my friends, who all swear that 'The Goonies' is awesome. It's two hours of teenagers shouting; that's it. I assume that 'Hook' doesn't hold up either, but I wouldn't know because I haven't seen it since I was like ten.
Agreed. I like all three. YOU DUMB DILDOS.
I'm pretty sure he said in the previous episode that he was under the weather. I think it was prior to reading his Abby Wambach afterball.
