The voice acting
I played the demo, and couldn't even make myself finish is because I hated Majin's voice actor so fucking much. He approximates a stereotypical Native American accent, then turns the stupid knob all the way up. Even if the gameplay was great, I wouldn't want to spend any more time with that character.

DX is an entirely new game. Don't let the naming fool you. The biggest change is that mazes now all have "sleeping ghosts" that wake up when you past by them and give chase. This leads to cases where dozens of ghosts fill the screen at once. It's madness, and it's glorious.

With some practice, Ack Ack, you'll get into the hundreds with your Ghost Combos. I recommend beefing up your regimen. Warm up with CoD, then play Pac-Man for hours instead.
