I'll swear by it. As much fun as the original was, it wasn't… original. There have been a ton of picross games, but the third dimension changes the way you need to approach the puzzles pretty significantly. The background art is a little bland, but the puzzles themselves look crisp, and I think it controls beautifully.

Online leaderboards, especially of XBLA and PSN games, are bringing high scores back. It may not be the same as being the best at a local arcade, but if you're one of the best players in the entire world, it feels pretty awesome.
