In his defense, season two is all but a sure thing. There is a long-term plan involved here that includes season three of DD, season and seasons twow of JJ and LC. Given the way this season of IF ends, it would take quite a change of direction for the overall Defenders plans for them to not make an IF season two.

Supergirl, especially after moving to CW has been conceived and produced as comic book cheese. It is supposed to be "bad", but in a fun, tongue-in-cheek way. The entire DC television universe is this way. It gets even worse if you watch Legends of Tomorrow.

It's also pretty much the only place left to have these conversations now that IMDb shut down comments.

We will need to wait for season two ( if there is one) to really find out. But we see plenty more examples of that being the direction they are planning on going.

AMC hired wu-shu veterans to produce a post-apocalyptic wu-shu television show and then gave them a HUGE filming schedule. This show has none of that, besides RZA directing a few episodes (including this one). If Marvel/Netflix had embraced a bloodier, wu-shu driven series like AMC did with Into the Badlands, this

When Gao reveals the trap to Danny, she says The Hand is a criminal not interested in honour or truth. She makes it clear that she actually is not calling the shots and that this is the work of another, higher up. So she, herself, is not lying to Danny, The Hand is.

If you go back and watch though, Madame Gao actually says that the man behind The Hand is a criminal and is not interedsted in things like honour. In the same breath she confesses to the challenge being a setup, she also confirms that she is not the leader pulling the strings, but that she serves another. For Madame

If you like intense, hardcore fight scenes, Banshee is the show for you, ESPECIALLY season one.

As a stand-alone episode, this is one of the best. 10 and 13 are also good, but might indeed rely a bit more on the overall arc as well. All-in -all, the show gets much better once Bakuto and his compound are fully exposed as The Hand.

Danny never gave any indication he put much stock in the vow of chastity. He even admitted to indulging in trying to sneak off to see the naked girls of the nearby village when he was still in training. He went through the expected motions, nothing more. Now that he is in NY, he is learning about an entirely different

What Danny did was more like going through the mothions because it was expected of him, not because he actually believed it brought enlightenment - sort of like many Christians do with going through the motions of going to church or taking the eucharist.

Even in the monastary, he was only marginally fulfilling that vow. He and Davos would slip away to try and go see the women naked in the pond. Clearly, Danny (and Davos) looked for opportunities to indulge their youthful sexual urges.

They did. Danny and Davos would sneak off to eat donkey meat. Colleen even commented that donkey could be good. Clearly, Danny never bought into the vegetarianism aspect of his upbringing.

There is a big difference between becoming partners (on an equal levl) and becomoing partners with one still learning and developing. Watson is not Sherlock's equal. The fact that they continue to try and make her so is actually insulting.

Yes.

Yeah, when she starts to describe K'un-Lun in great detail as a memory, it's pretty obvious that there is far more to her than is represented on the surface.

Iron Fist as a wu-shu series would have been very entertaining IMHO. What's more is, if Marvel-Netflix had managed to successfully blend wu-shu with the dark undertones of the Defender series, it would have made for an amazing show.

So much this. Part of the problem here is that Danny (in the stories) is just so superior that fights are too easy for him most of the time. This is always a terrible problem when trying to translate tot he screen. Add in the fact that even in the comics, DD is simply a better-written character, and now things get

I LOVED that after Danny told her to go ahead and take some that she stacked up four portions and took off with all of them, all with a great big F- you smile.

One of my favourite scenes in the entire series, which, in a series about a kung-fu master taking on an entire clan of evil-doers is sort of a sad thing.
