White Dwarf was amazing. I still think back on it today and wish they had done more with that concept.

I agree, but it seems we are in the minority.
It does seem very likely at this point, which really is a shame. It isn't like the source material has avoided giving Lucifer back his wings. There is precedent, and good story to be had in him getting and keeping them.
This episode was one of balance for me. I saw Lucifer getting his wings back as the probable ending for the season, and that happened. I was a bit worried that Dr. Linda would be a casualty this season as well. There are a ton of reasons why that would have been an easy out for the writers, and it would have saved the…
I see what you did there…Well played, well played indeed.
Once they knew Jonas was alive, finding him would not have been too hard. He's been making it a habit of dropping in on them to thwart their agenda, so he's obviously not constantly on blockers. That means they can visit him and figure out where he is. It's not like he has been like Whispers. He hasn't exactly been…
Netflix needs to finish signing the cluster to contracts. Season two was finished without the entire cast being under contract for future seasons. Because the show took so long to produce, contracts expired along the way. Those need to be handled before tehre is a season three. It's hard to see Netflix failing to…
The experience of meeting is something that can EASILY take multiple episodes to get through without making it feel stretched out, especially if they include important story developments like Lito explaining to Herman and Dani why he is going to London and that he may not be back, or Sun abandoning her current quest…
Season four of B5 was undermined by the studio. JMS pitched the show as a 5-season show. Then, during production of season 4, he was told there would be no season 5. That meant everything got accelerated, including giving us the "series finale" shortly before the end of the show's initial four-season run. But then TNT…
We haven't seen it happen yet, but I think we will in season three. At some point, Lito needs to explain to Hernando and Dani why he is suddenly (and without room for conversation to debate the fact) flying off to London. This is even more important since he KNOWS it is dangerous and that there is a chance he might…
Given that they are some of the most brilliant minds I have ever met, and I say that as someone who teaches at a major university, I'll be happy to have them around if end-times comes our way. Pure beefcake isn't going to cut it.
So because you are an extreme adrenaline junky, Tim Allen is not a "real" man? I have news for you bub, most men I know, even the manliest of manly ones, tend to agree with Tim Allen's characters on most points.
It's on once a wekk out here. None of my syndicated channels carry the show. I'll be buying the seasons from Amazon once payday comes around. The show performed well enough it shoud still be on. The cost wasn't even all that much, given that only Tim Allen was making "A-list" money.
I'm not sure it would have worked nearly as well that way, not in the long run. It certainly would have made the show more approachable up front though. It really does take unitl "What's Up?" for the show to hit its stride. However, if the show spends 4-6 episodes introducing each member of the cluster, especially…
The pacing of the show is almost pure Straczynski. The various character beats and plot reveals, with their carefully planned drops are right out of his playbook. Many find his technique to be plodding and overwrought. Others find it to be genius. He certainly appeals to a particular kind of aesthetic.
Giveen what we hhave seen out of the writers, I would not be surprised if the detailed conversation about the case, including photos, was just that, an exposition dump. It may have also doubled up as a crude device by which the writers could shoehorn May into the picture in a way that is blatantly interfereing with…
I too am thrilled to see the show get another renewal. That said, I am starting to agree with you and others around here. There seems to be some sort of obsession on Valentine's part for this show to be the Joan Watson show. I didn't used to see it.
I love Tricia Helfer, but this needs to be her only season. If the show winds up getting an extended run of seasons, there could be individual cameo appearances in the future, but even those need to be sparse. THIS season, is her story. Anything beyond this season though and it becomes too much.
Chloe already knows Lucifer slept with his therapist though.
I'm pretty sure it was. Now I MUST go rewatch that episode. Gee, such sacrifices I make…
