I genuinely liked Deception but am not too disappointed to see it canceled.  I think it more or less resolved its initial premise and probably didn't have much story to tell going forward.

I'm just now thinking of this, but isn't Spartacus an example of a series that proved a three year model could be quite compelling? Albeit there were extenuating circumstances in that particular case, but I still think it's proof that the three year model is viable.
