I don't think she wants to go back to Joss.  It seems there's a level of coolness between the two that doesn't exist between Joss and other Whedon alums.

I too watch Pangs every Thanksgiving.  Pangs and Something Blue are some of my all-time favorite episodes, probably because of Spike's awkward interactions with the rest of the gang.
