I too watch Pangs every Thanksgiving.  Pangs and Something Blue are some of my all-time favorite episodes, probably because of Spike's awkward interactions with the rest of the gang.

I'm going to be that person to say that I don't love "The Gift."  It may be because I was watching it in the midst of a Buffy marathon, and I'm pretty sure I saw "Bargaining" immediately thereafter. But yeah, Buffy's speech didn't really move me.

I think that's also what differentiates Dollhouse from Joss Whedon's other shows.  Firefly and Buffy have strong "gang" feels (I think it's incredible that Firefly managed to achieve in one season exactly what Buffy did in seven), whereas in Angel and Dollhouse, the characters can't even trust each other.
