As usual, very little. And as usual, certain people are making a big deal out of it.
It's true. And the same can be said for Bill Nye.
I thought the scoring was very Star Trek (the newer films) at times — which seemed apropos, but rather more cinematic and bombastic than ethereal and immense. The difference, I suppose, between "Thus Spake Zarathustra" and the 1963 "Doctor Who" theme.
Did anyone else think it looked kind of like Slave I? At least in the first shot?
A-. Wished I had one of those fancy high-definition televisions.
The ending of which ended up dovetailing quite nicely with this program…
Better than having an ignoramus as president who does all those same things and far worse.
I was trying to imagine President Bush introing "Cosmos".
My fiancee and I thought Ringo, but that might have been because Ringo is easier to make fun of.

I think I might finally be done with this show.
B+. I agree with basically everything Todd said, but I guess I liked the final product a smidgen more.
It's nice to see Britta being used as a character and not as a punchline again. Seasons 3 and 4 were not kind to her.
"Fumero" is her married name — I discovered, to my disappointment.
