Pretty soon, the Doctor was going to end up played by a toddler, and it would have been like that Star Trek episode where the Enterprise encounters a civilization led by an alien who is played by a kindergartener.

Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.

"Would people be happy"

He's also kissed Rory and Jack, so I think he's at least a bit flexible.

A couple people on mine are bitching about how Moffat is a terrible writer, and somebody else is excited but will miss Matt Smith.

I think Peter Capaldi will be a fine Doctor. Matt Smith has been my favorite incarnation of the Doctor to date, and I'm very sad to see him go, but I think Moffat made an excellent decision in casting Capaldi, and I look forward to seeing his take.

I loathe that song with the fiery passion of a million burning suns. I don't even know why I hate it so much. But I hated it the first time I heard it, and I will change the station whenever it comes on the radio — which thankfully isn't that often where I live.

I also really like "Stay". Sad introspective anthemic U2 ballads for the win.

Too easy. Gangrene is funnier than a lot of things.

You are not funny. Cancer is funnier than you are.

L.A. deserved it. And so does NYC.

Too bad Bieber wasn't aborted.
