I actually kind of really like the fact that the credits are obviously designed to look dated in 10 or so years. The old sequences in classic DW defined their eras, and I think this new one does the same better than the previous sequence did.

@avclub-f42523df3fafe56f111474dc70679dcf:disqus Big DS9 fan, but I never really "bought" Kira's feelings for Odo. That's not really a knock on Nana Visitor, who I think is great, but I always felt like Kira suddenly reciprocating Odo's long-held and slow-burning feelings out of nowhere felt kind of…well…out of nowhere.
I always liked Jadzia best in the Klingon episodes. The ones that got too introspective-focused on Dax were pretty hit-and-miss/

@LurkyMcLurkerson:disqus The South fought and lost a war because they were butthurt over the idea of not owning people. They're kind of eminently mockable.

I still watched and mostly enjoyed the show up until about Season 5, but that really sticks in my mind as a dividing point between hilarious vintage "The Office" and newer, less grounded, altogether sloppier "The Office". The last gasp of the former came out during the…

The "Avengers" sketch felt particularly obligatory, and was particularly terrible.
