I think part of the issue with that is how excluded Elena/Damon and the others are from reality. With Buffy, it always seemed to encompass not only Sunnydale, but the entire world itself. She couldn't afford to be selfish. With VD though, they're in their little world where the consequences wouldn't really resonate.

That's what I thought. The review just confused me then, calling Aaron Maxfield's son.

Great review, as usual, Carrie. While the show is enjoyable, there are just too many loose threads right now, and things are going to need to start coming together for it to pick up.

If your balls turn red and white, it's definitely a good idea to see a doctor.

As a Canadian, I always lose it at this scene.

"Oh come on, Edna. We both know these kids HAVE NO FUTURE!"
*silence*
"Prove me wrong kids, prove me wrong."

Kate McKinnon is probably one of the most talented actors on SNL right now. I'm glad she's getting used.

I also had some trouble understanding her. But at least she was upbeat and excited?

The song was easily one of my favourite moments on this show. Cute, clever and funny.

When they cut away to everyone singing without her in the shot, I thought she'd drop dead. But BBT is too light for that

But it was so cute! The lyric said, "But you touched me for a little while" and then Stefan touched Elena's face!

Thanks so much for your response! I think it's so amazing that we're able to communicate with you on this forum and let you know how much we enjoy your show.

Really great episode to bring back Awkward. The perfect amount of Awkwardness, humour, and Jenna being a terrible person.

Well, she makes the sex with Ryan Kwanten's character Jason. So nice bodies all around. And she crushes a girl's face in with her heels. I'm sure there's someone out there with a heel kink who would find that arousing.

Giving April the stickers was genius. Aubrey Plaza is almost always the source of my biggest laughs

Quetsiyah is going to be a delight. Already love her.

Too soon? Nah.

I agree. As a gay man, I appreciate the fact that America is viewing a gay couple on a popular television show without freaking out too much. But unfortunately, their relationship is toxic and not representative of any kind of loving relationship, gay or straight. Jesse Tyler Ferguson should be ashamed.

Yeah, it was just the right amount of showy that you knew he wanted other people to see it. I would have absolutely lost it if he covered his eyes though.

I like how Schmidt's story focused on his connection with his Jewish side.
