I thunk the fact that Benny moved back to his hometown and just so happened to be close to one of his relatives may have been a slight nod to True Blood. Bill is Caroline Bellefleur's great-(great?) grandfather. Then again, that may have just been more established in the books, and I'm looking too much into it.

Did anyone else really want to give Jake Johnson a hug after watching that episode?

Sidenote: The guy who plays Rory, Damian McGinty, has an EP coming out soon. If you like his voice, check it out!

The show unfortunately has made her a little one-dimensional this season. Like, whenever she isn't in a scene, I just imagine her charging up in a dark room. Nothing against the actress, who is fantastic, but I just can't imagine Bonnie living a life outside of when she is needed by the other characters in the show.

It's definitely one of the more simple ones that have developed from the show.

This episode made me realize just how close Caroline and Stefan were. I always seem to forget, but there they are, acting all best-friends-for-eternity and whatnot.

Oh God, the Ifrit storyline was the worst thing to have ever happened to True Blood. It severely depreciated the season :(

The French Mistake is one of my favourites too.

A lot of people seem to have the theory that the flashbacks are either fake, or there's something "off" about them - maybe that fact is being exaggerated with the lighting choice?

I really like the way they're doing the lighting for the flashbacks. It is kind of dreamlike, which makes sense because that whole situation was a means for Sam escaping the reality of the situation that everyone he loves is dead.

I just imagine them going to work together being all cute and it just makes me happy.
