After a bit of thought, I think I know why STID got a pass and IM3 didn't:

Funny. Iron Man 3 does the Asian/Caucasian bait & switch, and it's "OMG! NOW THE MOVIE SUCKS!"

The worst part is that Benedict didn't get to wear a fake plastic chest.

A clean slate would require a whole new story, not cannibalizing bits and pieces from other stories. This is more like a palimpset, not a tabla rasa.

Any money made from that show will end up going towards the therapy bills and finger reattachment surgeries for the contestants.

Jazz Age….Jay-Z….Jay Gatsby…

I remember that too. Good lord, that gave me a headache.

I'm so 50/50 on this episode. Let's get the good stuff out of the way first:

Agreed. I knew Marley's "confession" was a red herring, especially since it's not in her character and she's already dealt with her feelings for Ryder. Unique had the most to lose by revealing herself, hence all the subterfuge.

Cancelled shows usually "burn off" their un-aired episodes during the summer to fill in gaps on the TV schedule.

But how will Harry go all Green Goblin unless he sees Peter bang Mary Jane?

For a guy who was smart enough to engineer a risky break-in, he's not smart enough to keep his dick from making bad decisions or to close the damn curtains before banging Laurel in full view of a public street.

Good lord Glee - you're getting on my last nerve. It was great to see Mercedes and Kurt's Dad again, as well as Peggy Bundy, but everything else was horrible.

Other blink and you missed it comics references:

That's what I thought. I saw these on Hulu last week and wondered why there wasn't a review of these episodes up on AV until now.

It was a blessing in disguise. We might have been subjected to a ham-fisted Very Special Episode dealing with abortion. Or we'd have yet another aborted plot point (see what I did there?) about a baby that will be quickly condemned to TV limbo along with Quinn and Sue's baby, then promptly forgotten.

Glee needs to quit drawing out the damn catfishing plot and reveal who it is already. Also, it seems to me that Ryder made up that molestation story just to see if it would get a reaction from   "Fake Katie". I mean, it was a win-win scenario for him. At best, it would make the catfisher blow his/her cover…at worst,

I think Yao Fei is playing a long con. He's trying to look like he's on Fyer's side, but this'll turn out to be a ploy to get Oliver and Company off the island.

Agreed. Why come back if Shue is going to treat Finn like his little bitch slave?

They're off looking for that Matt dude from the first half of Season One, Lauren Zaizes, and that annoying dude with the Jewfro.
