This made me laugh out loud:
"It all leads up to a climactic soapbox-derby race, possibly because the filmmakers thought a pie-eating contest or a square-dance competition might provide too much excitement for the audience's more delicate members."

Question:
Is the gross-out material in this painful-looking or just gooey? Because I can handle the latter, but not so much the former, and this sounds like it's worth seeing.
Ugh, that's a downer. And another reason why I won't set foot inside a Blockbuster.
This explains why both Gomorrah and A Christmas Tale have taken a while to hit DVD. And it's nice to see Criterion releasing recent films more regularly.
Finally.
The Raconteurs albums fun enough, but they've caused Benson's solo career to stall even further. His strengths lie in power-pop; Lapalco is probably one of my favorite albums of the decade.
Well at least it wasn't tweecon.
Actually, tweecon would be way less dorky.
Feral? From X-Force?
I dunno, I think at least half the material on the show was really funny - which is a pretty good hit-to-miss ratio for a sketch show - and it wins bonus points for audaciousness. Carvey's the weak link, though. He deserves some credit for spearheading things, and for his willingness to tackle the writers' more…
The theme music from Gremlins, please.
And if anyone's looking for another overlooked Stamp performance, check out The Collector. It's one of his earliest roles, but seems pretty groundbreaking for 1965, especially considering that William Wyler was in the director's chair.
Yep. Just Netflixed this, watched it over the weekend, and promptly fell in love with it. This review's pretty much on the money, though I think the performances are way more than "solid" - they're downright affecting.
Toby Toby Toby.
You didn't laugh at Chris Pratt's nakedcrutchesboomboxthiefchasing?
Agreed. The part with Jim and the spray bottle in the car had me dying.
Did the trailer for Bride Wars play before Rachel Getting Married for anyone else? Because that was magical.
"I picked up Combat Rock and gave it a couple listens. I can't get into the Clash."
I watched the first episode of Delocated and it didn't click for me - should I press on? A lot of funny people seem to be pretty high on it.
You people are crackheads. Someone back me up on this.
Right on.
Nicely said, Tuxedo.
