General Wii U question: Is there any reliable way to find good Wii U games for $30 or less? I've owned the system for a year and so far only have NintendoLand and Mario 3-D World (both of which came with the system), Mario Kart (which I was willing to shell out $50 for), and a digital copy of Wonderful 101 (which was

A Gleason-drawn Frankenstein is just beyond exciting. I'm so glad Frank's still hanging around after his (underappreciated) series got the axe.

Yeah, pick up the ELEGY trade. If you enjoy that, you'll like the new series.

I've never seen this show. Sell me on it! What is it? What's so great about it? I don't have cable - can I watch it online?

Yeah, the Sinister issue was great, and it's been sort of thrilling to see how little Gillen has let AvX throw off his game. He's incorporated it into his overarching plotlines pretty seamlessly (and Aaron has done a great job over in W&tXM as well).

I think Gillen's done a bang-up job on UNCANNY X-MEN as well (despite Greg Land), though I'm worried his run is about to be cut short post-AvX.

Aaron's best stuff is fucking awesome. I'd strongly recommend SCALPED, WOLVERINE & THE X-MEN, PUNISHER MAX, THE OTHER SIDE, and GHOST RIDER. His WOLVERINE run definitely has its ups and down, but "Insane in the Brain" is one of the best Wolverine stories I've ever read.

You're not alone - I can see how the production is a turn-off for some people, but I've always thought Pollard brought his A-game for that one. Not a dud on there.

You'll be pretty safe with any of their albums between 1992 and 2001. There's great stuff before and after, but you'll have to dig a bit more for it. Their best lo-fi album is BEE THOUSAND and their best hi-fi one is ISOLATION DRILLS, so maybe start with those two. They also have an excellent best-of comp, HUMAN

Both series have the same basic vibe as Secret Six - highly combustable teams of amoral "heroes", constant backstabbing, and offbeat adventures. If you're looking to catch up with Parker's current run, the THUNDERBOLTS: CAGE tpb is your starting point. Warren Ellis' post-Civil War run is also excellent, and available
