No no, I am relatively certain that V is going to cause that long sought after heart attack. But I did just add "White Collar" to the list, so we'll see how it all balances out. I kind of think I have a man-crush on Matthew Bomer. At least, when I first watched "Chuck," I was like, "Who is *that* chunk of love?

Oh, Alurin, you see right through me!

Also, and I know I said I was dropping out of this discussion, but fuck it, I want to add something.

Alurin, I have, indeed, led a very sheltered life. Thank you for noticing.

I fucking HATE this show. Every week, I watch it, hoping that the writers will catch up to the cool concept, and every week I come away feeling a little more pissed off. This week, the Senate hearings were ludicrous, the lesbians were boring, and the main characters were SHOWN IN THE CAR TWO TENTHS OF A SECOND BEFORE

I googled the host, to see if she is hot. Because, obviously, that will determine how important this programming decision is. I learned three things.

Ronald Dahl? He was all right, but he was no Roald Dahl.

I think the 'murder' double entendre was included in the episode.

For what it's worth, I think he *meant* to create the username HeroesFollower. So all is not lost.

the news so bad it forced him to type correctly!

I actually read that "he" as Wayans himself. And I was impressed that you had the courage to bring that point up right to the man's face (as it were).

The "and more" was definitely the best part. It was nice of Amelie to leave that for us to maul here in the comments. I wonder if they considered trying to shoehorn (ahem) famous celebrities like "Johnny Reebok" and "Steve Nike" and "Raquel Adidas" into that list, and then went, "aw fuck it, no one's gonna believe

I think it was the awkwardness of "reporting" following "Reporter."

I predicted that Jonathan (Jon?) was going to win the whole shootin' match, after his audition and that 'gem-a-roo' comment. I put it down in ink and everything. I am like the Ellen DeGeneres of judging this show. (In that I am a hilarious lesbian.)

Felt Pelt, that is scarily good. I think Quirk Books just found the followup to the followup. Keep writin'.

Awesome, thanks thanks thanks. You = the best.

I don't suppose
that the extras include Creature Comforts, do they? That was the f—, ah, the orig—, um, I saw that short before I saw any of the others and I dearly love it so. So this is a serious question. If that's not on here, is it on DVD anywhere else?

Oh dear god, that woman is 42 if she's a day.

No shit. right? I just moved here at the beginning of the year, after years of bashing. I gotta say, though, for a film nerd, the number of awesome events is staggering. A couple months back, I went to a screening of "Robin Hood" (the Errol Flynn classic, not the Costner bullshit) and they had a presentation of

For anyone who lives in Los Angeles: there will be a neat bit of programming at the Egyptian Theatre on Nov 1 to coincide with the release of this set. The day-long event is also called "Where The Action Is…" and starts with four 35mm episodes of The Monkees' tv show that have never been screened theatrically, plus a
