I agree with your thoughts on Mr Beast. Funny thing is, The Hawk Is Howling goes with the exact same formula and somehow does it bigger and better.

Great call on The Century of Self. Giant's Causeway on the iPod makes walking down the street feel massive.

So many to choose from…

And they say men can't multitask!

I'm waiting for him to make a sequel to that one film he was in about ten years ago with Ewan McGregor.

Eh, not a fan.

I was actually just regurgitating a Bobby Bacala quote from The Sopranos.

"Monopoly has a reputation as this long, unwinnable game that eventually bores everybody playing it to tears, but if you play by the rules that come with the game, it’s relatively fast-paced. The house rules so many players use are what drag the thing out."

I was pretty pretty good at Diplomacy.

The Final Cut. Couldn't tell the difference from The Director's Cut honestly.

My joke wasn't that women don't like Bladerunner, the joke was that guys like me want to talk about unimportant details when she just wants to watch the movie in peace.

I was reading the recaps that were posted on this site as the 5th season episodes aired, and the comments indicated that people were loving it as much as the earlier seasons, except on the Finale when people seemed to turn on it. Weird. There were a couple of things about  the season that I didn't like, though the

I live in Australia, where traditional box sets don't seem to exist anymore. What I bought was basically the 7 individual plastic cased seasons that can be purchased individually, but together in a cheap cardboard box. I'm not complaining, i actually prefer the plastic cases over the big foldy out cardboard

The Shield. I purchased the boxset about an hour ago actually. I am looking forward to ZMF-approved ownage.

I watched all of The Wire a couple of months ago, and I'm still doing Clay Davis impressions hourly. I am expecting my wife to snap any time soon.

In the past month I finished Infinite Jest for the first time, will definitely read that again one day to work out what that was all about. Over christmas holidays I read Cancer Ward which was nice and cheery, then read The Hobbit again in an afternoon and yeah there's not three movies in that. Also, The Day of the
