Regardless of the actual conversation, it's highly likely that the Umbers and Manderleys are being circumspect by giving the impression they are anti-Stark. Whether they actually are, well…

I don't know if he's a complete douche so much as he has a real anger management problem. You'd be doing yourself a favor though to acquaint yourself with some of his other work. I'd stick with Beetlejuice, Glengarry Glen Ross, and The Hunt for Red October, plus his SNL appearances.

Also Tracy Morgan. I'd say she just has a high tolerance for shenanigans.

She looks like Sigourney Weaver with dirty blonde hair.

Spoilers aside, show-only viewers get really annoyed by book readers comparing the show to the book. Maybe they don't really need two reviews anymore, but they definitely still need two separate discussions.

The old Merv Griffin shows are amazing. Not too long ago they aired the episode with Phil Spector where he comes out and is a gigantic asshole to everyone and Eartha Kitt totally shuts him down.

That appears to be the case. I was kind of stunned at first at the number of comments here from people saying they really weren't familiar with him. I mean, he was a fucking giant in the 80s-90s. I was never a huge fan and didn't really follow his career once I stopped working in record stores. I had no idea he was

They were still playing after 40 minutes?!?

I actually thought of her when I saw the news. She, Prince and Michael Jackson were like the holy trinity of the 80s, and now she's the only one left.

And Devo.

I don't much care for any of the Little Women adaptations, but I'd have to say the 1994 version is my least favorite. Frankly I think almost all of the significant roles were terribly miscast.

TWICE. :(

I saw this a few years ago, and I have to admit I did a double-take when I realized who it was. He, uh, looked different back then.

My SO and I bought ourselves the new lightsabers when they came out. So what if we were in our late 30s? The only good thing about being an adult is being able to spend money on whatever the fuck you want.

Indeed. (1968 here).

My mom got an accounting job with the city back in the 60s and wasn't even a high school graduate (she got married when she was 17). You'd have to have a bachelor's to even be considered for her job now.

Yep. I did a year and decided not to throw any more of my parents' good money after bad. 25 years later I'm doing okay as a non-college graduate, as are my sister and brother. The one sister who did finish college and became a teacher? Makes less than any of us. Go figure.

Talk about dodging a bullet.

I was excited until I saw Frankie Grande. Ugh. I didn't know Katya was involved though, so I guess I'm still in.

So, that means you haven't seen The Wire, Orange Is The New Black, Fargo, The Sopranos, Justified, or Deadwood? I'd say you're not watching enough TV.
