The actress playing Shannen Doherty was spot-on. She doesn't look as much like when she smiles like in the photo, but when she's sporting the bitchface - which, let's face it, is most of the movie - she looks just like her. I have a feeling she watched a lot of 90210 episodes because she nailed Doherty, or at least

That's another aspect of commercials you see when you're a kid: hearing a jingle and not realizing until much later that it's based on an actual song.

That's what I'm afraid of.

I can't remember if I watched Room With A View or My Beautiful Laundrette first, but I know it wasn't until I watched RWAV a second time that I realized it was DDL in both films (he's much more swoon-worthy in MBL). Agreed on Julian Sands.

A Soldier's Daughter Never Cries is a movie I complete forgot existed, much less that I'd actually seen it. I had to look it up on IMDB. I remember it now…it was very good.

Oh, you should. They are just as wonderful 30/20 years later. I didn't like Age of Innocence either. It was so…mannered. Which, yes, I get that's kind of the point, but it was so humorless and the leads were so dull. I never felt any of the passion they were supposed to have for each other. Remains of the Day

SO adorable. I had a huge crush on Julian Sands, but Rupert was unbearably cute. No matter what he pops up in, I'll always think of him as Freddy.

I'm going to give myself a pass because I don't think I've even thought about that game in approximately 35 years.

I was introduced to Italian beef sandwiches by my SO (we live in another state but his sister lives in Chicago). There's a site called Tastes of Chicago that sells a kit to make Portillo's sandwiches. It's pricey, but it's the real deal; worth it as a special treat once or twice a year if a trip to Chicago is not an

Indeed. You can see why I was confused.

So, not just me then.

I was about to post that. It's spelled correctly in the USA Today article.

I know! I saw his name in the credits and was waiting for him to show up. I assume we'll see more of him next season.

I now have this image in my head of Quentin Tarantino pitching a movie to Diana Rigg, and him being his spastic self, and her just looking at him like "Dear boy, do you ever stop talking?"

I wouldn't count Eddie Murphy, Jim Carrey or Will Ferrell. Sketch comedy shows are practically designed to highlight talent and provide a launching pad to bigger things. It's not the same as being associated with one character and having to overcome being pigeonholed as that guy (Depp, Harrelson), or, as is more

Don't listen to Mr. Greene, Stephen. I usually don't like the non-Will Random Roles as much, but you really did a great job here.

Oh yes; that's what I meant. Will is so good at engaging his subjects (Ving Rhames excepted) that when someone else does an RR it usually feels like there's a certain something lacking, regardless of the subject. Stephen did a wonderful job here.

This is one of the very few non-Harris RRs that didn't disappoint.

Huh. You really do learn something new every day.

That's interesting. It never occurred to me that Aleida was just saying that to get Daya to let her leave. I thought she was completely serious, because Aleida's that awful and cavalier about her children.
