I'd agree that Bugs is essentially a trickster figure. He's a little bit lazy (basically just wanting to be left alone, not going out and trying to change stuff) and always has a plan to deal with and humiliate his antagonists, yet occasionally his cleverness backfires and he's the one who gets humiliated.
