I didn't even like Clerks the first time, or Mallrats or Chasing Amy or any of those, but I thought Clerks 2 was a totally watchable and well put together little labor of love. I would totally watch a third movie, no matter how much of a self-parody Kevin Smith seems determined to become.

"We made too much money," said Harry. "Yes," said Ron, quietly. "We made too much money."

Geist.

Remembering how good he was here has me excited about his new sitcom.  The preview trailer was a bit iffy, but the guy can land a joke and he gives good Serious Moment.  Not everyone can do both.

Thanks dogg.

I assume they did.  If they didn't, everyone would have responded.

Dang is this ever not the place for the conversation, but polling people about what they actually believe and want generally reveals a firmly center-left country.

I always got the impression that the alt comedian crowd loved Dana Gould.  And he wrote for the Simpsons for years and years, that doesn't qualify as a flameout even if it was during the crap years.

I read that as the explanation for his paedophilia, that is, that his repressed shame and guilt over having killed an innocent child.  But I might be overthinking it.

Part of the reason Barney works on How I Met Your Mother, though, is because NPH is such a weird casting choice.  After nine seasons of giving him kind of awful Charlie Sheen lines and watching him make them work through sheer force of dorkiness, you can understand Bays & Thomas thinking that casting against type is a

Oh snap, I did *not* realize he was Jason.  Or half of Walter and Perry.

That is pretty much exactly what it is.  It's called Major Tom, by Peter Schilling.

The song sucks and all, but why would "my love don't cost a thing" be a lie? Jennifer Lopez makes a lot more money than most people she's liable to want to have sex with. Do you really think she's holding out for a sugar daddy?

The use of 'bitch' was weird and kind of dancing on a dangerous line - I mean, Zoe *is* a bitch, but you don't want Barney to come off like someone who gets angry at women, you know?

First Sentence
I first read this as being an actual Amish community of game developers and oh my god that sounds delightful.

When he got sent to fat camp, though, he hollered "Spare me your euphemisms! It's fat camp for daddy's chubby little secret!" Originally he was portrayed as super-intense. Now he's just a target for creepy jokes about being effeminate.
